Level 5 – Integrated Testing

Level 5 is the sixth stage of the data center / critical system commissioning process covering the electrical integrated testing [IST] and mechanical heat load testing [HLT].

It would usually be led by the client CxA [commissioning provider/authority]

This level is completed to ensure that, once all systems are integrated they operate and can maintain the environmental conditions of the critical spaces under test, during normal operation, and upon any failure scenarios.

This stage will cover:

- Issuing Integrated Testing Scripts,

- Meetings, Workshops, and Reporting,

- Organization of Permits,

- Load Bank Plans and Temporary Instruments/Equipment,

- Resource Schedules,

- Integrated Systems Testing,

- Document Filing,

- Final Level 5 Integrated Testing Report and Closeout Meeting.

This is then followed by levels 6 & 7
